Best upcoming graphics PC games in 2022
The latest generation of console platforms launched back in 2020, and there are tons of great games coming out to them.
While it is still hard to easily find these platforms in stock, those of you who want to get the best visual experience can check out these upcoming releases. We’re highlighting the games that have the best looking graphics ever on this list.
1. Axiom Verge
Developer Tom Happ, best known for his work on EA Sports’ Tiger Woods PGA Tour and NFL Street franchises, has gone indie and created a delightful tribute to the exploratory action (AKA Metroidvania) genre.

This 2D platformer combines the best aspects of classic side-scrollers such as Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Metroid, providing a sophisticated experience for genre newcomers and seasoned vets alike.
Axiom Verge is a fun, engaging title, but the story elements and seemingly pointless weapons taint the experience a bit.
2. Salt and Sacrifice
This Souls-like dark fantasy RPG throws you into a once-peaceful kingdom that has been ruined by powerful wizards.

You’ll play as a marked Inquisitor, a condemned warrior who has woken up to hunt down these wizards who plague this world. Bringing down these enemies will give you drops that can be used to craft weapons and armor.
Not only are magicians your opponents in this labyrinthine world of salt and sacrifice, you’ll also face scavengers, secrets, traps, and powerful guardians. The game will also include a full online co-op mode and a drop-in accelerated online co-op mode. You can also challenge other players online in PvP mode.
3. System Shock
Nightdive Studios is set to remake and reboot the classic sci-fi adventure System Shock in the near future.

The developers are promising a new game that stays true to the original while being refreshed with modern visuals and gameplay. Fans of the series will be pleased to hear that the original voice actor is returning as well.
The original game was released in 1994, so this reboot is a long time coming and should definitely be an interesting one. System Shock 3 is also being developed, so we should look forward to that as well.
4. Hardspace: Shipbreaker
After giving players early access, in June 2020, the game is finally moving to a full PC release in the upcoming month.

The sci-fi game takes players into the realm of outer space, where they can literally tear apart large spaceships and extract as much value from them as possible.
In the course, players can pay off their debt to their in-game employer, LYNX Corporation, by obtaining ‘rescue rights’ for an even larger spaceship. The challenges are as dire as the circumstances themselves.
Dealing with atmospheric pressure, fire, fuel and coolant lines, taking each spacecraft apart is a dangerous task. As you continue to play, players can have opportunities to upgrade their suits, improve cutters, increase oxygen, and more.
5. Alan Wake Remastered
Return to Bright Falls in this refreshed version of the original Alan Wake and its two DLC packs. In Titanic writer’s shoes and shabby Jack, you travel to what seems like a lovely little town to get away from things.

Though different, deeper challenges await Alan when his wife goes missing and Bright Falls is filled with shadow demons.
The game feels similar to your typical third-person shooter, but before you can fill your enemies with bullets, you’ll need to burn off their protective layers of darkness with a continuous blast from your flashlight.
