Apex Legends is one of the most anticipated smartphone games from the mobile game publisher and a lot of eyes are already on the game’s release date.
Recently, the company announced a pre-registration link for Android users and a follow-up link for iOS users. Now in the latest development, Respawn has pulled the curtain off the release date and confirmed that the game is going to launch globally on May 17th. Yes! You read that right, the company has shared a trailer confirming the news, let’s take a closer look at the details.
EA has shared a trailer that shows off characters from Apex Legends Mobile including Wraith, Mirage, Caustic and more. The trailer also reveals the control layout of the game which will be coming soon to the smartphone.
Apart from this, the trailer also confirmed the game modes that are going to be part of the mobile version. The game modes will be Mini-Royal and Team Deathmatch, the teaser also suggests that Apex Legends Mobile will bring its first legend with an entirely new story and powers.

Apex Legends Mobile will reward players who have already registered for the game. These include Teeth Cutter – Epic R99 Skin, Molten Earth – Epic Skin for Bloodhound, Fatal Games – Banner Frame and On Target – Banner Pose.
EA has also opened up more pre-registration rewards, including a “Beam Legendary Holospray” and “Sunfire Initiative – Legendary Skin” for Pathfinder at 1.5 million and 2.5 million users, respectively. At the time of writing, the count stood at 14 million users.
In other news, Apex Legends Season 13 “Saviors” for PC and gaming consoles begins Tuesday, May 10. The upcoming season will introduce a new legend, Newcastle, the long-dead brother of Bangalore.
Season 13 will also give Storm Point its first update. Legendary skins for Fuze and Bloodhound have also been added to the Battle Pass.
Apex Legends Mobile, meanwhile, is out May 17 on Android and iOS.

Starting today, the game is now available for download through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store and users will need a good Android smartphone or a compatible iPhone or iPad to run the game.
