Anime fans will agree that some of the best characters and fun moments are to be found in the high school genre. It’s something we can all relate to, it’s time to come of high school age, and begin the journey of learning who we are and who we will be.

These selections often go beyond run-of-the-mill teen tropes, and create a world of fantasy that live-action can’t even come close to.

There are many wonderful anime series and movies in high school, ranging from comedy to horror and romance. While it would be hard to pinpoint the best of the best across the board, here are some memorable anime sets in high school that have something unique.

How To Raise A Boring Girlfriend

Sakano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend is about Tomoya who wants to make a dating sim game. And also the “cute” girls help him on his journey to make one. One of the main characters: Megumi Kato is a literal cliche character,

and the anime is self-conscious towards it. That’s what makes it attractive and gives it more flavor. Not your typical harem. I enjoyed it more than I thought.

As a psychic, Saiki tries to lead a peaceful life but has no luck. He attracts the strangest people to his high school and has a responsibility to save humanity one at a time. The show is full of laughs when you don’t have much time.

Although Saiki has the power to read the minds of others, one character, Nendo, lacks any sort of intelligence. There is nothing to read in Nendo’s mind. This makes Saiki terrified of what unexpected steps Nendo will take to ruin her peaceful life.

DxD

Issei Hyoudou is a typical pervert who gets murdered while on a first date with a fallen angel. Luckily, the teenager’s adventure doesn’t end there, as she is saved by the lovable Rhea Gremory, a devil. Issie is now his slave and must obey his orders.

High School DxD” is for anime fans who enjoy shows with sexually suggestive visuals and a compelling plot. The series is available to watch on VRV.

Daily Lives Of High School Boys

The Daily Life of High School Boys is all about the dumbest sh*t boys raised in school. And it’s clear from the first episode. The second episode and everything beyond. The comedy is gender specific, after all it is about high school boys and how they live their daily lives.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t see the humor in it if you’re a woman. I’d call it a “male” version of something like K-On, but without the moe and kawaii designs and episodes.

If you are tired of the typical urban school theme, then you should definitely check out Silver Spoon! It takes place at Oejo Agricultural High School, which is in the countryside.

where students are required to learn a variety of practical tasks such as milking cows, riding horses, and cleaning manure. This series is a refreshing take on the genre that teaches us to respect life and animals.
