FromSoftware’s latest game may be on our list of best single-player games, but playing it can be an almost communal experience. There are so many secrets to discover in its vast open world that you’ll be exchanging notes with friends for some time to come.

Outrageously difficult as other FromSoftware games, Elden Ring will allow you to find alternative routes to your goal—sometimes this may involve playing with others in your online community, but it’s basically still Is a single-player game.

3. Death Stranding

If you like games about a dystopian future that are a little experimental, you’ll love Death Stranding.

Atomic Heart is an open-world action/RPG set in an alternate universe in which you are P-3, a special KGB agent investigating catastrophic events at Facility 3826.
