Minecraft: top 5 Ways To Get Gold

Searching for rare minerals in dangerous underground areas with crowds around the player is one of the most fun parts of the journey through the survival world of Minecraft. One of the rarest minerals is gold which is produced as ore in the overworld.

In order to make items out of gold, players need to smelt raw gold to turn them into gold ingots. Unfortunately, even though gold is a rarity, iron tools are also more effective than tools made out of gold.

One of the most common uses for gold is in watch making, as it can only be made from gold bars. This article covers the different ways players can find gold in Minecraft Pocket Edition.

1. Spelunking

Spelunking is the act of traveling through Minecraft’s vast cave systems. This is the most efficient technique for finding gold for several reasons.

First, it is the least dangerous of all techniques. If the player can handle the occasional spider or creeper, they can take over the caves. If the player is exceptionally good with a sword, they can even get away with spelunking in leather armor!

Secondly, spelunking allows the player to quickly uncover a large amount of ground, scanning the area for any gold veins. There is also a good chance of discovering mines, which also provide gold in their many treasures. Spelunking will be a big technology in Minecraft’s upcoming update, Caves & Cliffs.

2. Piglins or zombified piglins

Adult piglins have an 8.5% chance of dropping their golden weapon or armor when killed.

Each loot level increases this chance by 1%. Armor pieces and weapons can be enchanted with random spells. When defeated by a player or a pet wolf, the zombified piglin has a 2.5% chance of dropping the gold ingots.

They can also drop items such as nuggets or gold weapons, although these drop rates are much lower than those of normal piglins. Players can build a piglin farm or slay them with a loot enchanted weapon.

3. Mining Nether Gold Ore

This is a more viable way to get good quanitite of gold, especially if you are spending a long time in the Netherlands.

As is likely to be clear by now, the Netherlands has strong ties to gold, and the actual ore can be found in veins around the dimension. When mined, Netherland gold drops 2-6 nuggets by default, but with a Fortune III pickaxe it can go as high as 24, so it’s up to your hands to get higher amounts of nuggets.

A great way to. If you see some Netherland gold the next time you’re out exploring the Netherland, stop and mine it – you might be surprised how much you get.

4. Make an iron pickaxe or better.

You will need an iron, diamond or netherite pickaxe to mine gold ore. To make an ax you will need 2 sticks and 3 iron or diamonds.

Open a crafting table and stack 2 sticks on top of each other starting at the bottom of the middle column. Then, fill in the top row with an iron or diamond.

An iron or diamond pick is pretty much what you need to mine gold, because a netherite pickaxe is more difficult to get: you have to go down, find 4 pieces of ancient rubble and smelt them with a diamond pickaxe.

Ancient rubble in a kiln (to obtain netherite scrap), the scrap with gold ingots to make a netherite ingot, and finally upgrade a diamond pickaxe using a smithing table.

5. Zombified Piglins .2

Zombified pigmen can only breed naturally in lowland waste and crimson forest biomes.

They have a 2.5% chance of dropping a gold ingot on death, which can be increased by 1% with each loot spell applied to the sword. With Looting III this chance maxes out at 5.5%, which isn’t bad at all!

This tactic is the most dangerous because the Netherlands is no fun place. Ne(v) Nevertheless, with a Loot III sword and at least full iron armor, it could prove to be a good source of gold.
