PUBG Tips and Tricks for Professionals

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, or simply PUBG, is a deeply complex and realistic feel about the battle royale genre. It offers realistic shooting mechanics based on a variety of techniques that challenges the skill of the player. Playing PUBG is as rewarding as it can be brutal. The ability to continually widen the skill gap between a new player and a GM lies in knowledge and practice of the game. To become a truly advanced PUBG player, it is essential that you already know the basics of the game.

Without a foundation, there’s no room to build a house, so before starting here, be sure to review any beginner concepts you may be lacking. Once the player’s fundamentals are taken into account, there is scope to learn and master some advanced tips and concepts. This guide will provide some of these advanced tips and tricks to get players on the road to mastery.

1. Pick. Your. Battles

Everyone wants to be the person who hits 20 and takes out the winner, but the chances of that happening are slim. (Unless you’re Shroud or Dr. Dishonor, the two biggest PUBG streamers who somehow manage to get the most kills in a single round.) So you must choose your battles to survive. This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t fight any battles, but only choose battles that you know you can win.

If you see someone holding an AWM and full level three armour, they might not be able to see them clearly. But see someone with only a shotgun while you have 4x ARs and you should totally take them out. Take an extra second to evaluate each battle position and if it seems difficult, maybe run to the other side.

2. Ammunition

Ammunition can be difficult to manage. Pick up all kinds of ammo in the first few minutes of the game until you’ve got a decent set of weapons that you’re satisfied with. You should leave any unnecessary ammo out of your bag to make room for other items. If your teammates find this useful, we also suggest marking the ammo you drop.

Keep an eye on the ammo you’re carrying and loot crates of enemies as you progress through the game. Also, make sure you keep reloading your gun to avoid delays in the middle of the fight.

3. Guns Blazing vs Stealth

Many players will debate which method works better in the game as user experiences and skills vary. But, the most recommended way is actually a balanced one. Stealth comes in handy when trying to kill enemies without being seen or killed, and guns blazing are a great way to clear small areas full of enemies.

Learn to use your map to an advantage, as the leaves, buildings, and vehicles make for really good cover. Walking when you’re hooked also helps to sneak up on unsuspecting enemies because your footsteps won’t be heard.

You can also modify your approach according to the guns and attachments found in the game – it’s easier to steal with a sniper or suppressed rifle than with a machine gun or heavy assault rifle.

4. defined roles

It’s important to note that PUBG Mobile is a multiplayer battle royale game, so a lot of your success depends on your team’s performance as well. In creating a ‘we’, it is important to integrate all the diverse groups.

A team must set a defined role for itself – attacker, supporter, leader and a sniper. Attitudes need to be developed over a long period of time and are quick to encourage and reward good teams, while quickly perpetuating misbehavior.

A popular mistake that many budding players make is that they become too greedy to kill. Killing is important, but it is far more important to survive. So first assess the situation with a clear mind, find out your enemies before running.

5. Stick with your team

It is very important to have a game plan before starting the game. When with a team a supporter always plays as a reliable team member. When you play with a team it is smart to get close to them so that you are less in danger.

How can this help? Well, imagine you’re knocked out, being close to your team gives them a better chance to revive you without casualties. If you’re playing as an individual, it’s better to land in places that have a higher chance of survival.

Plus, if you’re playing alone, you can land on places with good loot. In a team, it is essential to focus on team survival, with less focus on high individual kills. Being aggressive is good, but survival makes room for more opportunities.
