the Best PC Games: 6 Must-Play Games For PC

If you have a gaming PC, you have tons of great games to choose from. Sometimes it can even feel like there are too many games to choose from. Not everyone plays Elden Ring, which is game of the hour (and well deserved on our best list), either.

So whether you are looking for that game alternative that everyone is talking about or you are just looking for the best PC games, you have come to the right place. This regularly updated list of 30 best PC games you can buy now has something for everyone.

1. Cuphead

Cuphead is a charming run-and-gun/shoot-’em-up hybrid that channels Konami’s iconic Contra series, while also drawing heavily from the rubber-hose animation style that flourished during the cartoons of the 1920s and 1930s. was the main one. If you’re familiar with the fast-paced gameplay of the Contra series, then Cuphead should be right up your alley.

The titular hero and his brother Mugman must master a variety of dangerous stages and bosses to complete their quest. Cuphead lacks the detailed level design featured in Contra and other genre classics, but the hardcore action game gives you a great list of complex and satisfying boss fights in the style of the beloved Alien Soldier from Treasure.

2.  Elden Ring

The challenging exploration and combat of Dark Souls, Demon Souls and Bloodborne finally moves into the open world in the latest From Software game. As the tarnished, you are tasked with exploring the Lands Between to find a way to reassemble the titular Ring.

Familiar elements like limited safe zones, multiplayer-lite features like messages and deadly boss encounters are here, spread around the map, rather than just at the end of a metaphorical corridor, so you can track them yourself. But even newcomers who aren’t well-versed in the Soulsborn genre should find the game fairly accessible, so don’t be intimidated by Elden Ring if you haven’t tried one before.

3. CELESTE

Celeste is both an excellent platformer and a powerful story about overcoming difficulties. Playing as Madeline, you’re tasked with escaping the dangerous climb of Celeste Mountain, navigating over 700 screens of platforming challenges that will put the legends of the genre through their paces.

The controls are razor-sharp, with a simple set of tricks that promise not to alienate newbies—failure happens often, but it never feels unreasonable. Better yet, the repeated failures only help cement the story of Celeste’s preservation and self-discovery.

4. RETURN OF THE OBRA DINN

Like an old-fashioned murder tale, Return of the Obra Din is a complex mystery, layered with personalities, motives, mysteries, and lies. But it supercharges conventions by sneaking in the wrong direction at every nook and corner of its complicated, grand murder scenes.

the story is set on an early 19th-century merchant ship that appears in port five years after its disappearance was reported, believed to have been lost at sea.

The ship is deprived of human life. My job is to board the ship and find out what happened. I am soon faced with evidence of a trip being wrong. Skeletons, detonated cannons, and destroyed rigging all add up to… what?

5. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is undeniably fantastic. We thought Origins and Odyssey were great but Valhalla is something new and fresh. We are now in the shoes of a Viking warrior wreaking havoc on the coast of ancient England.

It’s a great outing in the series, with a reworked skill system and awesome RPG elements that make it incredibly enjoyable for hours and hours. A highlight is the ability to call on your fellow Vikings so that you can raid nearby monasteries and enemy positions to find resources to build your own.

6. Monster Hunter Rise

Originally a Switch exclusive, Monster Hunter Rise managed to launch on a PC in 2022. Fans will benefit from 4K and HDR support on the platform – one of the best ways to experience the monster-slaying action. Aside from a few minor changes, Monster Hunter Rise remains largely intact.

You’ll still be swinging around the map and tying up enemies with your wirebug, then jumping on your palico to speed up the map while chasing the fledgling monster. It doesn’t offer crossplay support, but at least you’ll be able to track down and kill Rise’s most destructive bosses in tandem with other hunters on PC.
