Top 5 fastest vehicles for Sports car races in GTA Online

The racing scene in GTA Online is very rich and there are countless races on its servers at any given minute. Players constantly want to spend their legitimate or illegitimate GTA dollars to get the fastest wheels that money can buy and customize until they become the best machine they can.

However, which is the fastest car out there? What is the fastest beats maximum speed can achieve in GTA Online? To find out, we’re counting down the top 5 fastest cars in GTA Online based on top speed.

1. ANNIS S80RR

The Annis S80RR is the endurance car you never needed. With one of the highest acceleration ratings in GTA Online, the next time you reach a line you’ll be running for a long time while the rest of your competition still spins its wheels. Although its top speed isn’t the fastest in-game, it still tops out at 123 mph (197.95 km/h), being able to maintain only the top of the line.

Its surprisingly good handling and perfect aerodynamic shape keep it on the road even when it’s not on the road. It keeps the air flowing with its rear-wheel-drive making sure you don’t really need to brake past a crazy corner.

Originally added to the game as part of the 1.48 Diamond Casino and Resort Update on July 23, 2019, and modeled as a cross between the Nissan R90C and the Jaguar XJR-9, it’s no surprise that it One of the most unique and stylish cars in-game.

2. PROGEN EMERUS

Coming in at number four on the list but still, number one on the leaderboard is Progen Amerus. Sporting a $2,750,000 price tag, it’s not too far from the Pegassi Tezeract. One key difference between the two is that the RWD system means you’ll look better when you’re moving around the Tezeract than when you’re doing it.

First introduced in GTA: Online on 15 August 2019 in the 1.48 Diamond Casino & Resort Update, it was carefully modeled after the real-life McLaren Senna to provide better downforce, more acceleration, and the classic overengineered style that only McLaren Knows how to make.

3. BENEFACTOR KRIEGER

With classic German-style engineering and a style that makes Batman jealous, Benefactor arrives at Krieger 3. For those who do not speak German, Krieger translates to warrior in English. You’ll definitely be the warrior of your next race when you hit a top speed of 127 mph and you’re six checkpoints ahead of everyone else.

Originally styled as a combination Mercedes-AMG One, the Audi R8 LMS GT3 can be purchased at Legendary Motorsport for $2,875,000. You can sell it at 60% of its original price but that will happen only if you buy it. This car is also fully customizable like most cars in GTA: Online but with the kind of styling you wouldn’t want.

4. Vapid Peyote Gasser

Our list of the best muscle cars in GTA V Online begins with the Vapid Peyote Gasser. Arguably the best looking car on this list, Rockstar has added this muscle car to GTA Online with the Diamond Casino and Resort update. Southern San Andreas Super Auto sells this vehicle for just $805K.

The Vapid Peyote Gasser sports a top speed of 118 MPH. It has good acceleration and good braking. It’s a solid muscle car to use in a race with few turns, but I wouldn’t recommend you use it on a track with tight corners. There are cars with far better braking that are easier to control.

Rockstar designed this classy looking car after the real-world Ford Thunderbird. In terms of customization, the Peyote Gasser gets several rally-themed levers that look like something out of The Dukes of Hazard. There are some more trendy looking and “fun” outfits, such as the “Cocktail Kitty” outfit, which drenches the car in a cyan blue and pink color palette!

5. Imponte Duke O’Death

Coming in at number four is the impotent Duke O’Deth. This unique looking armored muscle car is modeled after the original Dodge Charger. Rockstar added this vehicle in 2014 with the release of the next generation of GTA V. Unlike the other cars on this list, you’ll have to go to Warstock Cash & Carry to buy it for $665,000.

The Impotent Duke O’Death has a top speed of 114.25, with pretty decent acceleration to boot. Braking is similar to the first two cars on this list, but that number is still low. This armored car serves as a quick alternative to the armored Kouruma. It lacks offensive weapons, so don’t expect to win any PvP matches with it (unless you consider running someone repeatedly to be PvP).
