10 best survival seeds for Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition

Which is the best Minecraft seed in 2022? Check out the best seeds in the game with our handy list.

There’s more to Minecraft than just the basic game – and that’s enough to keep you busy for a while. Minecraft seeds open the game and then some, so there’s no limit to the places you can go.

1. Archipelago

Seed: 124014738

This one of the simpler ones and a good place to start. The small group of islands is a great place to build, especially if you’re just starting out and want to learn the basics of how to do it.

So definitely not a challenge, but sometimes a challenge isn’t what you’re looking for and if that sounds like you then it’s perfect.

2. Bamboo Jungle Temple

Seed: 9176963463659858407

When you start this seed, head south and you’ll soon find yourself making your way through a vast forest of woods that will eventually lead you to a bamboo forest.

Once you’re there, keep your eyes peeled for the temple and you’ll be rewarded with a game gift package – well worth a look if you can!

3. Ocean Monument Island

Seed: -3821186818805133221

There are some rare things to find on this ocean-based seedbed—and one really extremely rare that’s more than enough reason to go here and see it.

There is an ultra-rare mouseroom biome located not too far from the starting point and when you first spawn you will also be able to see an underwater ocean monument. So it’s just a matter of deciding which one you want to go first!

4. The Hole of Death

Seed Code: 1870652620

The purpose of most Minecraft 1.19 survival seeds is to test whether you’re skilled enough to survive, and our first seed does exactly that. This spawns you next to a stream of water that pushes you into a large lava lake if you are not quick enough and leave immediately.

If you somehow survive the push, you’re still stuck in a dark pit with hostile hordes, lava, and a steep fall that awaits you. The only cool thing about this Minecraft seed is that you get a bunch of diamonds at the bottom of the hole.

5. Archipelago challenge

Seed: -376100066742686

Water, water, everywhere and not a drop to drink. Here’s your challenge, should you choose to accept it.

Whichever direction you choose, you will find either the sea or a small island as part of this vast archipelago. It will be a real challenge to not only survive here but to use it as a base for adventure.

However, don’t get too discouraged. Once you start to dip under the tide, there are many monuments to loot.

6. Woodland Mansion Adventure Seed

Woodland mansions are notoriously hard to find in Minecraft’s survival mode, typically tens of thousands of blocks from the spawn point. Of course, in creative mode, you can use the mansion command, but it doesn’t work in survival mode.

This is why Woodland Mansion Seed is awesome. The Woodland Mansion is about 1,000 blocks or so from the spawn point. You won’t rush straight to the woodland mansion. Because you will die again and again. Still, once you’ve got hold of some good armor and weapons, you can attack the Woodland Mansion and plunder its bountiful loot.

You spawn on blocks X:-180, Z:-60. Trek across the ocean to X:-1100, Z:500 and see a woodland mansion with a village.

7. Huge Savanna Mountain

Terrain creation in the latest version affects all Minecraft biomes, including the savannah. We start in a vast savanna biome with many savannah mountains. The tallest is 127 blocks high.

To help you get started, you may have several cave entrances and some savannahs in this area. Pigs, lamb and pumpkin are among the foods available in the region.

However, the savannah mountains are not the only highlands in the region. Next to our spawn is a desert and badland biome with hills and mountains. If you don’t want to explore different biomes, you can build a boat in Minecraft. Behind the savanna lies an ocean waiting to be discovered.
