If the player gets bored of the good o’ Steve or Alex, they can easily download a new skin and replace it. A Minecraft skin can be changed by completing the following instructions.

Getting Skins from Third-Party Websites

Visit the Official Minecraft Website

To log in with the account associated with Minecraft on your PC, go to the menu icon and click on Profile

Select the file you downloaded earlier and click on Browse option then click on Open

To save your unique skin, click Save

Changing skins in Minecraft PE

Despite not offering the full Minecraft experience, Minecraft PE owners can also enjoy custom skins.

On your mobile device, visit a third-party Minecraft skin website, such as Minecraft Skins.

Click Download on the page of the skin you want to apply to your character. In the latest versions of iOS and Android, the download of the image file should begin automatically.

Open Minecraft PE and tap on the coat hanger icon in the lower right corner of the display.

Tap on the blank skin icon in the top-left of the display.

Tap Choose New Skin and select the file you downloaded earlier.

Select the appropriate skin model (tap the one on the right if you’re unsure) and tap Confirm to apply your changes.

The selected skin should now be chosen as your character’s default!

How to Change Skin in Minecraft Java TLauncher

Of course, first you need to download TLauncher on the main page to apply or add skins to TLauncher. Then, you are able to follow the below steps:

To enable you to continue using the login details in the Launcher, you must first register on the site.
Then, you can go to the registration page and enter the required data in the fields.

After registration, you will have your own profile where you can install or add skin.

In the next step, you are able to click on Upload skin. Now choose your custom skin from your computer/PC. In this step, we highly suggest you to use the size of 64×32, unless you have purchased premium member with which it allows you to install HD skins.

Please run TLauncher, and then check the Install box next to Accounts. In your case click on the tab accounts “no account”, and then simply you are able to open from the list, and go to the login page by clicking “manage”.

On this page you will need to submit your data such as your username, password and email address specified during registration. Note, the save button will restart automatically.

If an authorization is successful, you will be able to see your username with an icon TL on the main page of the launcher.
Finally, you are able to select and play any version with the TL icon from the list.

After applying your custom skin to the TLauncher site, you are now able to play the game with your custom skin.

Changing Skins in Minecraft Pocket Edition (PE)

Despite not offering the full Minecraft experience, Minecraft PE owners can also enjoy custom skins.

On your mobile device, go to a third-party Minecraft skin website like Minecraft Skins, then click “Download” on the page for the skin you want to apply to your character. In the latest versions of iOS and Android, the download should start automatically. Once you’ve downloaded your character, open Minecraft PE and tap the coat hanger icon in the lower-right of the display.
