Minecraft guide: Where to find Ancient Debris and Netherite Ingots
Minecraft sets players into exploring, creating and repeating a gameplay loop that is both addicting and limitless. You are able to create the world as you see fit, making it a perfect getaway and place to create whatever you want.
With the Minecraft Nether Update, players were introduced to the Nether, a material that is elusive and stronger than diamonds. Netherite is ideal if you want to go on dangerous adventures. With Nether, you’ll be able to make some handy weapons that can keep you safe. Unlike other materials,
finding netherite is not as easy as mining it or finding ore. This is a slightly complicated process that may sound wrong, but is actually correct. If you are looking for Netherlands, you have come to the right place!

Unlike diamonds, you cannot find Minecraft netherite as an ore in the ground. Instead, you’re looking for a block in the Netherlands called Ancient Debris – and it’s astronomically rare. You’ll need at least a diamond ax to cut it, so get ready.
Ancient debris originates in veins, and is always completely covered by blocks (or lava) on each side, so you won’t be able to see them from the surface. Instead, you’ll need to dig – ancient debris can be found from y=22 to y=8, although it’s most common at y=15.

To make Netherite Armor and Tools, you’ll need to upgrade Diamond Armor and Tools to the Smithing Table. You can’t make Nether tools in the same way that you can make with other materials. To upgrade a diamond tool or piece of armor to netherite.
place the diamond item in the first slot of the smithing table and the netherite ingot in the second slot. Then retrieve the netwrite item that appears in the output slot. Here’s how you upgrade a Diamond Tool or Armor Piece in the Netherlands.
All you need is a Smithing Table and a Nether Ingot per piece you want to upgrade. This works for four Nether armor pieces (helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots) as well as a sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel and spade. Doing so will retain any magic on your diamond device, so you won’t lose your spell!
