Apex Legend is now available on mobile, here’s how to download on the Google Play Store

Apex Legends Mobile was initially only available in limited beta in India and the Philippines, though Respawn and EA said more regions would be covered in the future.

Previously, you could play Apex Legends on your phone through other services, but now you can play a PC version instead of the mobile port in that instance. It’s a dedicated port with on-screen controls and additional features for smaller TVs.

Apex Legends Mobile will be automatically downloaded from the Play Store to your device overnight if you have already pre-registered. After installing the game, you’ll need to go through a lengthy tutorial before entering the season 1 eponymous map, “World’s End”. There’s also a mobile-only story called “Fade” to unlock.

You’ll also get a bunch of special in-game rewards if you pre-registered for Apex Legends Mobile. Founder’s badge, Bloodhound banner pose and frame, an R99 Epic skin, and many others are among them.

With on-screen controls that are similar to the hugely popular Call of Duty, the game has been adjusted to be better suited for mobile gameplay. On PC and consoles, the control scheme can be tweaked to fit your preferences, and automatic loot picks help speed up this sometimes delicate process.

There are some minimum device specifications that must be met in order for Apex Legends Mobile to run at its best. To get started, you’ll need an Exynos 7420 or Helio P20 processor, Snapdragon 435, Kirin 650, 4GB of storage space, 2GB of RAM, and in addition, your mobile should be running Android 6 or higher.
