The process of making templates for t-shirts is complicated and requires creativity. But, once you understand it, you can easily create tons of shirt templates and upload them to Roblox.

Although there is a tool called Roblox Shirt Maker, I do not recommend using it as it is illegal. My best advice is to show your level of creativity and make the best template out of it manually.
Here are the steps to create a shirt on Roblox:
- Download the shirt template from Roblox and copy the template (see the next section to download the template manually).
- Download and open Paint.NET.
- Open a new page and paste the template using Ctrl+V.
- Tap on the Magic Wand Tool and select each body part from the template.
- Press Delete and create a new page.
- Download any desired background image and copy-paste it on the new page.
- Open the Roblox template again and select all transparent areas.
- Copy all selected transparent areas and paste them into the background image.
- Create multiple layers to add text messages.

How to Add Custom Shirts to Roblox Using Create Pages?

Uploading your custom shirt to Roblox is simple enough – however, you’ll have to wait for the admin team to approve your creation. Here’s how to do it:
- Make sure you have purchased a Roblox Premium subscription.
- Sign in to Roblox and go to the “Create” tab.
- Under “My Creations,” select “Shirts.”
- Under “Create a shirt,” click “Browse…” to view your files.
- Select your edited shirt PNG file and open it with Roblox.
- Name your creation and click “Upload”.
- Wait until the admin team approves and converts your PNG file to the proper shirt – you should receive an email when this happens. It usually takes a few hours.
Selling Your Shirt on Roblox
Once you’re good enough, you can sell your creations for Robux. It might cost you a little money for the game. You will need a builders club membership to sell stuff though.
- Select your shirt from within your Create window.
- Select the cog icon in the top right to access Settings.
- Select Configure and check the Sell this item checkbox.
- Select the Robux checkbox and enter the amount.
- Select Save to put it up for sale.
Before randomly placing your shirts up for sale, it makes sense to see what other shirts are on sale and at what cost. Just like in the real world, you need to offer something unique and offer a competitive price compared to other shirts. Its price is too high and people will not be able to buy it. It costs too little and you’re not making as many robux as you can.
The same principles will apply for pants, shoes, hats or whatever else you make into Roblox. You use a 2D template to create a 3D model. Once you get used to seeing your design in three dimensions, the rest is easy!
