5 fastest JDM cars in GTA Online in 2022

Rockstar is adding more and more vehicles to GTA Online with every update. The vehicle-centric nature of the sport is the reason why it is loved so much by car enthusiasts. Among GTA cars, there is a popular informal group of cars called JDM or Japanese Domestic Market). These cars are inspired by the real-life JDM icons that were hugely popular in the 2000s.

Top 5 fastest JDM cars in GTA Online

GTA Online players share a collective obsession with the JDM (Japanese domestic market) cars in the game. Essentially, these vehicles represent the best cars one can have in terms of handling and obviously looks.

There are many GTA Online players who would trade their most expensive American muscle or European luxury for a classic JDM car in a heartbeat. These cars are perfect for customization and can be a great addition to a players garage.

1. Maibatsu Penumbra FF

The design of the Maibatsu Penumbra FF is based on the real-life second generation Mitsubishi Eclipse and the second generation Eagle Talon. Fast and Furious fans will also recognize the Penumbra FF, as it is the green car that Paul Walker drove in the film. It was added to the game in 2020 as part of the 1.51 LS Summer Special Update.

Overall, the Penumbra FF has good acceleration due to its AWD system – players can reach high speeds very quickly from a standstill. However, it has a low top speed and can be a problem in straight races. It also has poor braking – players need to keep this in mind when making high turns.

2. Annis ZR380

The normal price of the Annis ZR380 is $2,138,640, and the trading price is $1,608,00. The engine sound of this car is amazing; It is very fast and also has nitro option.

The Annis ZR380 is a bit pricey, and can be difficult to handle. Most of the customization options are locked behind the arena’s paywall, and the armor has poor visibility. If you can afford it it will still be an amazing car.

3. Future Shock ZR380

Few vehicles in the GTA franchise look as badass as the Ennis Future Shock ZR380. Heavily armored and embedded with dangerous spikes, this sports car has been crafted keeping in mind the Nissan 350Z and Nissan 370Z.

While the car’s acceleration is a bit slow, mainly due to the heavy armor it pulls with, it has admirable handling and top speed, which can be further enhanced by installing worthy optimizations to boost. The perfect vehicle for sneaking into other cars and evading enemy bullets, the Future Shock ZR380 doesn’t break easily, and rarely bulks up under pressure.

4. Runner

With a reboot of James Wan’s Knight Rider rumored to be in development, lovers of both the game and the David Hasselhoff series can rejoice over the fact that there exists a car that is heavily inspired by the show’s iconic supercar.

Although Ruiner primarily focuses on the Pontiac Transam KIIT, JDM enthusiasts need not fret, as there are myriad customization options that can make it look as Japanese as the heart desires. Admittedly, the Ruiner doesn’t offer the handling expected from a typical JDM, but it could easily make these aspects irrelevant, courtesy of its modest $10,000 price tag and astonishing acceleration.

5. Grotti Itali RSX

The Grotti Itali RSX became the second fastest car in GTA 5 Online, surpassing the Pfister 811. The sports car was introduced in Grand Theft Auto Online in December 2020 as part of the 1.52 Cayo Perico Heist update.

Interestingly, the design of the Grotti Itali RSX is based on the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, and has an incredible top speed of 135.30 mph (217.74 km/h). However, you need to spend a lot of money to add this car to your GTA 5 vehicle collection, as it costs $3,465,000.
