Apex Legends: 10 Things You Never Noticed In World's Edge
An Apex Legends data miner has discovered some information that suggests that World’s Edge may be in line to receive a major update in Season 10. This season, we saw some changes to Olympus with a new or new Point of Interest (POI) and the next. Several changes are expected in World’s Edge or King’s Canyon, which is in line with the leaked information.
World’s Edge was released in Season 3 and is currently the competitive map used for Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) competitive events. The last time significant changes were made to World’s Edge was back in Seasons 4 and 6 and the map is long overdue to receive updates. Here’s everything we know about the leak so far.
apex legends season 10 ranked arenas
Apex Legends game director, Chad Grenier, announced at EA Play Live 2021 that a ranked version of Arenas is coming in Season 10. While we expect the gameplay of Arenas to remain largely unchanged, the amount of rounds required to win the game should increase.
One of the big problems with unreserved arenas is that players give up during a match. Penalties were added to prevent this from becoming a problem, but instead, players leave the game running while doing something else.
People usually do this to unlock their daily quests, however, these challenges are rarely associated with Ranked Mode. Ranked arenas should help take out players who aren’t bothered about playing the game.
Cooling Tower Explosion
The world of Apex Legends is constantly undergoing massive changes. The universe is lurking for volatile events and disasters that transform entire planets.
One of these catastrophes occurred at World’s Edge, when a cooling tower exploded, causing a massive flash freeze, killing most of the city’s population. This tragedy would leave the World’s Age obsolete, saving the few survivors who hunted like animals and lived off the land.
Enter Hammond Robotics
Almost all functional buildings found in World’s Age today are manufactured by Hammond Robotics. The company realized that it had a commercial interest in the matter of association with the Syndicate, and also a rare mineral interest, which was not unlike IMC many years ago.
Hammond Robotics will build a large harvester in the middle of the field, which will completely destroy the environment and cause the lava flows that can be experienced today.
The Maps Alter Seasonally
As a gamer, when you find a map in a battle royale game that you like, it can be very easy to get comfortable with it. You’ll find yourself learning all of the game’s little hidden areas that you can hide when things get too tough. You will subconsciously claim your favorite area of the map and try to get there in every single match.
No matter how attached you are, don’t get too comfortable with the top maps because they change seasonally. Sometimes (though rarely) you are given an entirely new world, but usually there will be some drastic changes to existing maps. World’s Edge and Kings Canyon looked very different in earlier seasons, but there were incidents that changed them significantly throughout the season.
Legend Tokens Are Hard To Get At High Levels
Legend Tokens are part of the in-game currencies for Apex. Tokens can be used to buy cosmetics for locked legends such as ramparts and characters if you want.
Tokens can be earned by getting Apex Packs or given as rewards every time you level up in the game. Apex Packs are earned sporadically in-game – they don’t always award Legend Tokens.
It may seem easy enough to earn them and to an extent, it is. However, if you’ve been playing Apex Legends for a while you’re probably already pretty high level. This can make it very difficult to earn tokens because it takes you a long time to level up.
