You’re going to get some basic information about the shows themselves, their production, and a short synopsis for each of them. Since the site isn’t adult-oriented, we’re not going to include explicit screenshots here, thus keeping the article clean, but you’ll be able to explore the shows yourself and see for yourself why they’re on our list.

1. Kokoro Connect

Kokoro Connect takes a tried and true love triangle scenario and adds a supernatural twist to it. The story follows the students, Taichi, Iori, Yui, Yoshifumi and Himeko who are part of their school’s student cultural research club. The group leads fairly normal lives until a mysterious person named Heartseed gifts them with supernatural abilities.

Since then they experience various sensory events, examine their relationships and bring to light various aspects of their personality that they would have kept hidden. The anime has tons of great character development, which make for an interesting experience on the whole.

After going on train trips and talking on Sakura’s bucket list, spending a lot of time with each other, the two become very close. Everything is going well until one day, and our Sakura is hospitalized after falling ill. Will the love between them take a new phase of life, or will it be Sakura’s funeral?

3. My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU

My teen romantic comedy SNAFU has a lot of twists and turns. Hachiman Hikigaya, the protagonist, is a completely lonely man who thinks highly of himself but hates everyone else. He believes that there is no happiness in anything and feels that his youth has been stolen.

Hachiman’s teachers force him to join a volunteer social club to improve his behavior. The members of this club want to help other students with their goals. The only other member is Yukino, another loner with a similar attitude. They work together to solve people’s problems and eventually come closer.

4. Centimeters Per Second

5 Centimeters Per Second is a film divided into three parts, covering the childhood and young adult life of Takaki Tono. As an elementary school student, he befriends a girl named Akari and falls in love with her.

In addition to being about young love, 5 Centimeters Per Second captures a sense of distance between two people who either don’t or can’t connect, and its animation and direction convey sadness throughout chapters of Takaki’s life. Holds on beautifully.

5. HoriMiya

This is an amazing anime series that features two characters who share a bond while keeping some secrets from the general public. Hori is a housewife who is always engaged in household chores while taking care of her siblings.

Miyamura, on the other hand, seems to be a loner loner, but, in reality, that’s far from the image he portrays, piercing his ears and hiding tattoos when he’s in school. It is an amazing show with many unforeseen events which is a delight to watch.

7. Hachimitsu to Clover

A realistic tale, Honey and Clover, follows the realistic adventures of a poor college student named Utah and his two friends as he goes through his life and finds love. This is a great anime for those looking for a grounded love story without fantasy elements.

(Of course, like any other anime romance there are still many surprises and unlikely events.) But Honey and Clover isn’t just a romance story; It’s a sensible coming-of-age story that is deeply relatable for most.
