Elex 2 is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the protagonist engages in a war where people are fighting for the powerful resource “Alex” that grants people magical powers.

Many would argue that the Elden Ring isn’t nearly as hard as some of the other Dark Souls releases, thanks to some introduced mechanics that make it a little “easier” to spot, but that doesn’t mean it’s still there. Not very challenging.
The lack of hand holding at the beginning of the game, paired with punitive combat, brutal bosses and zero direction, make the game a nightmare for those not familiar with the genre. The Elden Ring should certainly be considered one of the most difficult RPGs ever produced based on its sheer size and complexity.
