How to remove enchantments in Minecraft Bedrock 1.19 update

Charms in Minecraft Bedrock 1.19 Update are powerups that enhance the overall performance of a tool, weapon, armor, or gear.  Although players often enchant their gear, there is also a way to enchant them.

The main reason why an item is disillusioned may be that the player no longer needs a spell or was accidentally applied to an item.  Players can enchant items through the enchantment table or anvil with an enchanted book.

Guide to disenchanting items in Minecraft Bedrock 1.19 update using blocks and crafting slots

Just as there are Charming Tables and Evil Blocks that can apply magic to an item, there is a Specialized Block that can also remove magic from the item.  The block is called a grindstone.  Grindstone's primary function is to repair and remove magic from gear.

This block can be easily prepared by combining two sticks, two wooden planks and a stone slab.  A stone slab may be placed between two sticks, followed by two wooden planks placed just below the sticks.  Grindstone can also be applied to walls and ceilings.

If players wish to disenchant with an item, they can simply right-click on the block and place the item in the left slot.  The block will remove all types of spells from the item and cast a normal version of it.

If players wish to repair an enchanted item by combining it with another item, Grindstone will again cast all enchantments and cast a generic version of the item.  In any case, this block will remove all powerups except curses

The cool thing is that once it removes a spell from an item, it gives the player XP points based on the level of the spell and its value.

Alternatively, another way to remove enchantments from an item is to repair them in the normal crafting slot.  If players have two identical items with low durability, they can simply place them in their own 2x2 crafting slots to improve them.  They can also perform this action on the crafting table.

However, if they repair an enchanted item, the game will remove all spells except curses and give a normal repaired version of the item.  The only caveat is that players will need to repair the item by combining it with another similar item.
