Derek Jeter doesn't know where one of his iconic home run balls ended, LeBron throws some shade at teammates who aren't on the same page

Title 3

Yankee Stadium was packed with rooftops.  This position was as high as it usually got when the New York Yankees played in a World Series game.

Jeter - in his final at-bat before a sell-out crowd of 48,613 on September 25 - hit a game-winning single.  The Yankees beat the Baltimore Orioles 6-5.

"Before I took my last time at the bat," Jeter wrote in his autobiography "Unfiltered," released in the fall of 2014, "I knelt down and prayed as usual."

For an athlete who had always been proud of his privacy, this admission was a glimpse into Jeter as a religious figure.

The shortstop also won five Golden Gloves, made 14 All-Star appearances and was named American League Rookie of the Year in 1996.  The team retired its No. 2 jersey in 2017.

Jeter, now 48 and CEO of the Miami Marlins, is the focus of an eight-part ESPN documentary titled "The Captain."  The first two episodes have already been released.
