The only Legendary Pokémon to make the cut to fifth place on the list is from the Hoen region, Kyogre. While it may surprise users that such a powerful Pokémon is only at number five, the reason it lacks any unique variants like Shadow or Mega Evolution.
Next up is the fan-favorite Mudkip, the shadow version of Swampert's final evolution. Gamers have known about its power for the longest time and they have had a chance to shine their hands after the recent Community Day Classic event.
In third place is the shadow version of the water-type starter from Johto Region, Ferligator. While Swampert primarily focuses on bulk, Feraligator is more damage-oriented in Pokémon Go.
In second place is Mega Gyarados. While Mega Evolutions cannot be used in Battle League, they are still noteworthy, thanks to their immense power.
Not surprising to many, Mega Blastoise is one of the best Water-type Pokémon players in Pokémon Go. After the recent Mega Evolution event, many people have new access to this Pokémon, so users are encouraged to use it in any raid or gym battles.
