15+ Games To Play On Low-End Laptops (Free & Paid)

1. Borderlands

The original Borderlands game is still great fun to play, especially with a friend.  It has a great story, fun gameplay mechanics, and tons of loot for you to play over and over again.

2. Left 4 Dead 2

Left 4 Dead 2 is another iconic game that defined the multiplayer survival horror genre.  The game may be old but it still has a healthy player base.

3. Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley is a fun role-playing game with old school gameplay mechanics and retro pixel-art graphics.  The game is a lot of fun and includes a cool aspect of farming.

4. Max Payne

Max Payne 1 and 2 literally defined the third person shooter genre.  The bullet-time mechanics and gripping storyline have made the game one of the most iconic games of all time.

5. Terraria

Some compare Terraria to Minecraft.  But to me it is a game that is much more enjoyable than Minecraft.

6. Euro Truck Simulator 2

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is one of the most relaxing games out there.  The game has an amazing open world where you can freely explore the truck, make deliveries, while listening to the radio.

7. Guild Wars 2

If you are a fan of MMOs, you should definitely check out Guild Wars 2.  Even though the game came out in 2012, the game is still a good looking game with a well-populated player base.

8. Skyrim

People are still playing Skyrim on all kinds of devices.  The best thing about this game is that it runs on almost any machine you can find.  Some are even running it on ATM machines.

9. Torchlight 2

If you are a fan of Diablo game, then you are going to love this game.  Torchlight is a creative ARPG game developed by the same people behind Diablo 2.

 10. Commandos

Commando is one of my all-time favourites.  Of course I jumped back to play games on my laptop.  It runs great with max settings but the game is not well optimized for modern machines.
