5 fastest GTA Online cars and bikes players can buy in 2022
GTA Online has a whole line of vehicles when it comes to cars and motorcycles, and thanks to Rockstar Games, the list continues to grow with every DLC. Players are always spoiled for the option of spending their hard earned money.
Racing is a very enjoyable and competitive activity in GTA Online, and the game offers new races and time trials to beat every week. The newly expanded and upgraded version of the game has added some new vehicles to the game that have shifted meta.
Five GTA Online vehicles that leave the rest in the dust
When the Orbital Cannon was released, many GTA Online players were disappointed. Rockstar made it even worse when the Oppressor Mk II was deployed, marking the end of the traditional “boots on the ground” approach of the early days of GTA Online, where players could use real rather than sci-fi hovercraft.
Vehicles had to be grinded and driven. The company was also sorry to release the operators, as evident in a speech to the player in the Kayo Perico heist update: “Have you ever tried to shoot missiles at people on flying bikes?”
1. Nagasaki Shotaro
Classified as a futuristic sports bike in GTA Online, the Shotaro was introduced in 2016 as part of the Bikers DLC. The motorcycle remains relevant even after all these years.
By its looks, Shotaro is based on the Lotus C-01, but players say it is very similar to Lightcycle from the Tron movie franchise. This is quite expensive for a bike, as Legendary Motorsport offers it for $2.2 million.
However, Shotaro fully justifies its price tag when it comes to performance. Pairing an engine like the PCJ600 and the Ruffian with a six-speed gearbox, the bike can easily reach speeds of up to 123.75 mph.
2. HSW Shitzu Hakuchou Drag
The Shitzu Hakuchou Drag is a very unique motorcycle in GTA Online, as it sports an extended rear swingarm. The bike was added to the game in 2016 via the Bikers DLC.
The Hakuchou Drag is a highly customized version of the Hakuchou, based on the 2018–present Suzuki Hayabusa and 1996–2007 and Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird. The motorcycle was first showcased in the GTA 4 DLC called ‘Lost and the Damned’. It can be purchased from Legendary Motorsport for $976K.
Powered by an inline-4 engine coupled with a six-speed gearbox, the drag produces around 1300 cc and 250 hp. This motorcycle has recently received a lot of love courtesy of an expanded and upgraded version of the sport. The Hakuchou Drag LS is eligible for an HSW upgrade at the car meet.
The cost of the HSW upgrade for the drag is $1.4 million, and the individual parts add another $270K to the bill. However, after that the motorcycle is completely transformed, with a breathtaking top speed of 157.5 mph and a lap time of 0:53.186 (Brew).
3. Toreador
The Toreador is a sports car that can convert into a submarine to allow for amphibious landings. Now, when you drive your car from that cliff into the ocean, you can just navigate it to a nearby beach and get back on the road like nothing happened. This vehicle is also useful when dealing with Kosataka.
There is another amphibious car, the Stromberg. However, Toreador is better for its comparable price tag. Toreador is equipped with a boost, and can take slightly more damage than Stromberg. When Toreador became available many players immediately sold their Stromberg and bought Toreador instead.
4. Khanjali
The TM-02 Khanjali is better than the Rhino in every aspect: it has an exotic aesthetic, a Chad cannon, a slightly precision railgun, and a 4-man ability that may warrant traces of blood and a broken ego, but what happens? What if the vehicle falls into the wrong hands?
A gun-wielding shipment can easily be destroyed by overzealous Khanjali players ($2,000 per shipment and sad people travel across the map because they want to ruin someone’s day). It doesn’t help that this vehicle can be seen whenever, wherever by calling a mechanic as an oppressor.
5. Turreted Limo
As CEO, the player can call in just $20,000 of these and start destroying everything that moves. It can also be purchased from Warstock for $1.6 million. But is it effective? With an experienced team: a good driver, three sticky bomb-throwers, and a precise minigun handler, the turret limo can be used almost anywhere.
Setup and contact missions can be finished in under five minutes as most NPCs usually do not bring explosives during these missions. Against human players though, it can be tough, but the minigun can knock anyone down, no sweat.
