How to make a smoker – minecraft?
Making a smoker in Minecraft requires you to have two basic things: 4 Wooden Logs and a Furnace.
To craft a Furnace, simply take 8 Cobblestone blocks and place one in every section of the Crafting Table apart from the central square.
Once you have at least 4 wooden logs and a furnace, follow these steps:
- Open the crafting menu GUI
- Lay out 4 wooden logs in a diamond shape
- Place the furnace in the center slot of the grid
- and you’re done! You will be able to see your smoker being successfully prepared on the right.
By placing this smoker on the ground you will now be able to cook any meat you collect.
Where to Find a Smoker in Minecraft
If you’re not the crafty type, you can look for naturally occurring smokers in Minecraft. These items are produced in butcher’s houses, which you can find in villages. Every Minecraft world has a village, but you won’t get one right away when you first spawn in the game.
In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, there is a 66.67% chance of finding a village within 500 blocks of your starting spawn point. Once you’ve found a village, it’s a matter of searching and finding a butcher’s house. When you spot one, just enter it, find the smoker, and steal it using a pickaxe.
How to Use a Smoker
Using a Smoker is also an easy process:
- Place the smoker wherever you want.
- Open the smoker menu.
- Place the fuel you want to use in the bottom tile on the left (below the smoke icon).
- Place the food you want to cook in the top tile (above the smoke icon).
- The smoke icon should now turn into flames, which means the food is cooking.
- Once the food is cooked, it will appear in the tile on the right.
- Carry cooked food on your list.
