Warden and Deep Dark were originally planned for the Caves & Cliffs update, but as the project grew and Deep Dark expanded in scope, Mojang decided that they needed to work on all of the features included.
Need time New underground biome. Because of these changes, both the Warden and Deep Dark biomes will come to Minecraft 1.19.
When Deep Dark was first announced in 2020, not much was shown, but Minecraft Live 2021 gave us a lot of details. The main focus was to show that Deep Dark is not just another cave. Instead, this underground network would consist of ruined cities that have been overrun with skulls.
We also got a better look at how Skulk’s evolution spreads with Skunk Catalyst, a new block that grows Skulk at the point where a nearby mob dies.
Since Minecraft Live, we’ve seen snippets of Warden in clips and previews of many scenes. The most notable of these is the video showing the new-emerged behavior of the warden, which allows it to burrow into underground blocks and pop up elsewhere.
