Like any character born in the late ’90s, Venom’s publication has had its ups and downs, but there are still several Venom story arcs and Venom graphic novels that would give any Marvelite a symbiotic relationship with Eddie Brock’s personal history.

They both fought, but the symbiote was able to convince the Hulk that he had changed for good. The two then oddly teamed up so that the symbiote could turn into a professional wrestler. Sadly, fans never found a solution to this story as the comic ended only after that.
4. Bride Of Venom
Comic fans are likely to remember Anne Weing as one of the most heroic hosts of the Venom symbiote. The “The Bride of Venom” story arc from The Amazing Spider-Man #374 and 375 is great because it adds more complexity to Eddie Brock through the introduction of his ex-wife, Anne.
Up until that point, Eddie was a somewhat one-note character. Anne reveals that Eddie has a difficult past and a good heart. She also briefly makes for one of the most interesting Venom variants, She-Venom, when the symbiote ties up with her to save her life.
5. ABSOLUTE CARNAGE
Paint the city red—blood red! Venom’s psychic child, Carnage, is back – and he plans to kill everyone who has ever worn a symbiote! Cletus Cassady may have traversed the periphery of the Marvel Universe for months, but now he’s ready to make his grand return to New York – and he’s more powerful than ever!
To make matters worse, a new player is on the board, and it’s not what you’d expect! Spider-Man and Venom must face Carnage’s madness, but things are not looking good. Barely able to escape their lives, the uneasy allies have no choice but to drag several other heroes into Carnage’s crosshairs.
And the bitter truth is that not everyone will be able to make it out of this struggle in one piece – if they make it out at all!
